Websites for storytellers.
I craft Squarespace websites with a delightfully fantastic flair.
As a web designer specializing in Squarespace, I create intuitive, striking websites that radiate the “inscape”—the inner essence—of individuals and organizations. I particularly love to build sites for creatives, nonprofits, and other dreamers with big goals and small budgets.

So what’s the deal with Squarespace?
Basically, it’s easy to look like $$$ without paying $$$.
You don’t need any coding knowledge to make a Squarespace website look beautiful. You can customize a page’s appearance on mobile versus desktop. You can blog, post events, sell stuff, and showcase your portfolio. If you ever get stuck, you can hop onto Squarespace Support to chat with a live representative. You don’t need a college degree in computer science to tell your story online!

Here’s a link to their pricing page. As of July 2023, there are four subscription plans with various features ranging from $192/year for a simple personal site to $588/year for an advanced online store. The good news is, if you work with Inscape you get an additional 20% off the first year!

I often tell my clients, “If you can make a Powerpoint presentation, you can learn to use Squarespace.” If you are completely technologically inept, you will struggle as much with Squarespace as you struggle with other computer programs, but if you can generally putter your way through the digital landscape, you’ll be fine!

The reason I choose Squarespace over Wordpress is because I’m an artist and I don’t want to deal with all the technical back-end stuff. I love to make websites pretty; I don’t love to keep them from getting hacked or breaking down. Thankfully, Squarespace takes care of all that for me. If you love to focus on design and content, but you hate finicky technical details, Squarespace is for you!

If you have a deep grasp of the principles of web design and how to effectively, beautifully communicate a message online, and an interest in spending 20-40 hours crafting your own website on Squarespace, you shouldn’t hire me! But if the above statement doesn’t describe you, I’m your gal.
